Stephan Mathes is managing director of Treuenfels Projektrealisation. As an initiator and creator, he ensures the development of the company.
With a substantial experience as CFO and COO in international companies in various industries, as interim manager and founder of a successful management consultancy, Stephan is familiar with the topics of strategy, business development and growth. The graduate in business administration started his professional career at Arthur Andersen in auditing and tax consultancy. In addition to his conceptual skills, he has a solid background of implementation knowledge in accounting and controlling, as well as extensive experience in project management.
Melanie Ortkemper is responsible for the staffing of finance professionals as a HR Manager for the Treuenfels Projektrealisierung. She also supports the management in questions of organizational and personnel development.
She has more than ten years of HR experience in management consulting companies, where she has been involved in setting up new locations or business units. Furthermore, she has helped to design, implement and optimize processes in the areas of recruiting, onboarding and project support. Her responsibilities included C-level consulting and project staffing. She built the theoretical foundation with her studies in personnel management economics (VWA) and several coaching trainings.

As Business Manager Heiko Vollmer develops and manages the Treuenfels Project Professional Team. Heiko is continuously in touch with our key customers to understand their specific needs. Due to his profound practical experience in Finance, he is able to find the appropriate approach of support. Heiko joined our team in Düsseldorf in 2017. Since then he has a strong track record in achieving the customers’ project goals by supporting their teams with our Project Professionals.
With a degree in Economics from the University of Münster, Heiko can look back on 19 years’ professional experience in the Finance departments of telecoms companies in Germany and abroad. Particularly notable assignments were almost 7 years’ service at Swisscom in Switzerland, as well as at Vodafone in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, where he became Head of Controlling. Before joining Treuenfels Heiko led the Finance Division of the SGS Group in Germany.
Dr. Anja Werth is managing our talent acquisition. She’s supporting us in the topics of top talent acquisition and employer branding. She’s recruiting new project professionals, conducting job interviews, accompanying the onboarding process, providing support in social media by creating articles and is sustaining recruitment campaigns. Furthermore, she is contributing her knowledge to HR projects.
Before joining Treuenfels, she was working as a recruiter and project manager in different consulting companies in the areas of executive search, employer branding, internal assessment centers, customer acquisition and marketing. One of her key issues is the Generation Y and its specific demands on the world of employment.

As Director, Maik Zallmann is involved in different tasks concerning the further development of our business, covering both the market side and our internal operations. Besides his involvement in the recruiting and sales processes, he mainly acts in his role as coach for our project professionals and as strategic business partner for our customers and Finance Executives. With his track record in transformational projects he often acted as interface between finance departments and IT. Before joining Treuenfels, Maik headed a Finance & Controlling Competence Team at Horváth & Partners and managed projects for SMEs as well as in corporate environment. Maik is on board since the foundation of our company in 2015.
Since November 2018 Térésa Hoffmann-Becking has held responsibility for the set-up and expansion of the Treuenfels Projects Banking business area. As a Business Consultant she acquires new clients and supports their Finance and Controlling departments in assigning project team staff. Térésa hand-picks qualified (Risk) Controllers from her team, assigns them to the right project and accompanies them throughout the project’s implementation. She drives the continual expansion of the Project Professionals expert group.
Térésa holds an MSc. in Business Economics and brings with her several years’ hands-on experience in private wealth management, business development and project management gained at Privatbank Rothschild and Oddo BHF AG.
Julia Petrich joined Treuenfels as a General and Business Manager at our Frankfurt am Main office for the Hessen region in March 2020. She supports CFOs and managers in finance and controlling with project professionals with extensive methodological experience in digitalization, system migration, corporate planning and cost management.
She graduated in banking management (ADG) and has comprehensive practical project management expertise and also fundamental knowledge of project management through her qualification as a Certified Associate Project Manager (Euro-FH). She is also trained in conflict management, strategy implementation, rhetoric and communicating. With over 15 years’ hands-on experience in banking, finance and controlling she has developed a deep understanding of project requirements at both a national and international level. Following positions in retail banking, real estate financing, a development aid bank before joining Treuenfels Julia accompanied the founding of a captive bank in the automotive sector inside the EU.
Johanna von Treuenfels holds responsibility for leading and further developing the Treuenfels Projects team focused on the Banking and Insurance sector. With her degree in Physics and Mathematics she has an analytical, solution-orientated background: for several years she was active at financial institutions as a Lead Consultant for the implementation, further development and validation of internal models as well as economic instruments and methods. Furthermore, thanks to her five years as a Risk Controller she knows the tasks that banking projects entail – a particular challenge given the continual flow of new requirements from European banking regulators.
With this professional background, as Business Manager at our Frankfurt Office she is best-placed to provide her team with highly motivating projects and Treuenfels clients with optimal support.
Thilo Seeger is our Business Manager at the new Treuenfels Projects Office in Stuttgart. Since opening in June 2020, the Tübingen-born Seeger has leveraged his knowhow and strong regional network to establish the Treuenfels Projects business in one of Germany’s strongest economic regions.
With the benefit of 20 years’ hands-on experience at the interface between IT and Finance, both as a consultant and in line Manager, he now applies his skills to realize Treuenfels Projects’ ambitious growth plans. Before joining Treuenfels he was Partner at the Theron Management Advisory Group, based at their Hamburg office and co-responsible for establishing Theron’s Logistics and Finance practice. Prior to that, among other prominent roles he held the Regional CFO post at DHL.
